Google Adsense is probably one of the easiest ways that you can earn income on your website. Every time you do a search with google, there are ads to the right hand side of your search. Those are paid ads. Now google realized that people with similar sites might also want to earn some income. So they created the Google Adsense program.

It is one of the simplest things to do to earn income. All you have to do is sign up and then follow the instructions they give you. If you have multiple sites you can create channels to track which sites earn you the most money. You can even chose your own colors so that the ads blend in better with your site because lets face it, if I put ads that were hot pink and neon green on this site you wouldn't click on them. You might notice them more, but you definitely would not click on them.

Update: Above is supposed to be a text link that says "Sign up for Adsense" but for some reason Google's own code is having problems with Blogger. They have been alerted to the issue, and will hopefully resolve this issue shortly. Until then, the generic url for google adsense is www.google.com/adsense - unfortunately if you sign up that way - I do not get a referral bonus.
